V-Pro dimmers are set to run in trailing-edge mode (MODE 1) by default. This versatile mode is suitable for most types of lighting recommended below. The alternative trailing-edge mode (MODE 3) may improve the performance of some dimmable LEDs. Some other lighting loads, including some types of LED, perform best in Mode 2. This is a simulated leading edge mode (not TRIAC) which is suitable for use with certain types of LED light.
